Hello! Thank you so much for your interest in our Train the Trainer program! We want to share a bit more information about our program and its goals so that you can decide whether this is a good fit for you.
The Tune In to Strive Out Program was developed by Tuned In Labs. We are a team of Counseling Psychology students and professors using our expertise in mental health and career counseling to help undergraduate students healthily navigate their career and academic lifestyles. Tuned In Labs was motivated by our expert awareness and witnessing the struggles students of marginalized identities face when trying to be their best selves in their personal development.
The Tune in to Strive Out Program is a 5-module program that guides students through practices to preserve a stronger sense of wellness and self-determination while learning skills to navigate their career and school lives. Each module is delivered in 60 minutes, with one module per week over a five-week period.
The Train the Trainer Workshop is a free 90-minute interactive workshop designed to introduce collaborators to the program and provide guidance for program facilitation. We have spent two years facilitating and refining the program are thrilled to train collaborators to offer the program to your students. Our intention is to share all program materials (e.g., slides for each module, a student workbook, and a facilitator manual that explains the theoretical and empirical basis for each module and guise the facilitator with specific instructions to facilitate each module) with individuals who complete our training and are planning to offer the training to their students. What we will be asking in return is for students and facilitators to complete short surveys associated with each module. The surveys are designed to allow us to assess the program’s effectiveness ad inform any needed adjustment.
Who is the training for? This training is designed for postsecondary educators, advisors, and administrators in academic and career services, health services, student organizations, student support services, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
What’s required for participation? A commitment to learning, reflecting, and connecting with our team!
