Associate Director Melissa “Missy” Clemens holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Education from Edgewood University, as well as a Certificate in Human Resource Management and Analytics from Wharton Executive Education at the University of Pennsylvania. She is recognized for her operational excellence and business acumen, with a career spanning manufacturing, social services, healthcare, and higher education.
At CCWT, Missy serves as a multi-functional administrator, leading program development and coordinating conferences and webinars while overseeing finance, human resources, and marketing and communications. In collaboration with Director Dr. Mindi Thompson, she developed CCWT’s Affiliate Program and serves as the primary liaison to key stakeholders, recruiting collaborators and cultivating partnerships that strengthen research and programming outcomes.
Missy thrives in fast-paced environments where she can apply her strengths in administrative leadership, program management, and process optimization. She is known for her strong financial stewardship and commitment to maximizing organizational resources.
In addition to her administrative leadership, Missy has been recognized for her dedication to students, including receiving Edgewood University’s Dr. Daniel Carey Diversity Leadership Award. She is deeply committed to community engagement, serving on and chairing fundraising committees, volunteering administrative support for local nonprofits, and fostering animals for a local pet rescue.
