Position title: Research Program Associate Director
Melissa Clemens (Missy) is the Research Program Associate Director at CCWT. She holds a Bachelors in Business Administration and a Masters in Education from Edgewood College as well as a Certificate in Human Resource Management and Analytics from Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania. In her professional career, she has been fortunate to gain extensive experience in strategic planning, operations management, education, talent management, marketing, human resources, budget management, development and fundraising, executive coaching, and customer service. Missy’s masters research was centered on social justice and equity in education. Her thesis was a literature review on restorative justice in higher education. She is passionate about working with young adults and committed to equity and inclusion. She thrives on the ability to integrate her many skills in her position with CCWT by managing operations, developing programming, and guiding student interns and assistants.
Personally, Missy is mom to two students, one at University of Wisconsin-Madison and one at University of Wisconsin-Platteville, as well as two dogs and a cat. She enjoys home DIY projects, weekends with her partner, thrifting, listening to podcasts, singing loudly and dancing in her car, and spending time with her friends and family.
