Assistant Director for Career Pathways – Artificial Intelligence, University of Florida • CCWT Affiliate
Marquise M. McGriff, M.A., CCSP, a member of both the Career Connections Center and AI2 Center, joined the University of Florida in September 2023. In his role as Assistant Director for Career Pathways – Artificial Intelligence, he focuses on preparing students of all fields for the AI-integrated workforce through career coaching and experiential learning. Prior to coming to UF, Marquise was a member of the Career Engagement and Opportunity (CEO) Center at New College of Florida, where he managed signature internship programs and supported relationships with employers as the Assistant Director for Internship Programs. Marquise has a decade of experience in K-12 and higher education, specializing in student advising, career development, and experiential learning. Marquise is a two-time HBCU graduate, has obtained a certificate of completion from Harvard University for completing the “Artificial Intelligence in Business: Creating Value with Machine Learning course through the Division of Continuing Education, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education at the University of Florida.
