Position title: Graduate Student Project Assistant
Nicole Hendry (she/her) is a doctoral student in UW-Madison’s Department of Counseling Psychology. Broadly, she is interested in improving mental wellbeing for adolescents and adults relating to their career and daily lives. Nicole is a life-long Wisconsite, having graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2021 with degrees in Psychology and Gender & Women’s Studies.
Previously, Nicole worked as a project manager at UW-Madison’s Center for Healthy Minds, where she coordinated a fully remote, nationwide smartphone study aimed at better understanding how people feel in their daily lives. Nicole’s research experience also includes community-based participatory research, qualitative research, and implementation science research.
In the future, Nicole plans on practicing as a licensed psychologist, becoming a clinical supervisor, and contributing to public-facing scholarship. In her free time, Nicole enjoys group fitness classes, reading, and dinner parties with friends.
