Dr. Thomas Le will outline a research study that examined discrimination’s association with academic well-being among first-generation college students during the first few months of the COVID-19 pandemic. This talk will review the role of social belonging and university attachment and provide strategies to support the wellbeing of first-generation college students as they navigate college environments.
