From Classroom to Career: Interns in Action

In this session, Viterbo University’s Sarah Hines and Alyssa Gostonczik moderate an Interns in Action Panel Discussion. Students will share their internship experiences to help participants gain insights into various types of internships and the unique experiences students encounter, discover specific skills and knowledge gained through internships that are valuable for future career endeavors, and explore different career paths and industries through the lens of internship experiences shared by peers. Attendees will also hear how students learned strategies for networking, building relationships, and navigating professional environments during internships and reflect on personal growth, challenges faced, and lessons learned during internship placements. The session will feature interactive discussions and Q&A sessions to deepen understanding and clarify doubts about internships and career preparation.
