Dr. Hora talked with Dr. Bayerlein about his recent research on online or e-internships, with a focus on how these new learning environments can best be designed to enhance student learning. The conversation covered Dr. Bayerlein’s interest in work-integrated learning (WIL) that can take place within formal postsecondary courses and programs.
Dr. Leopold Bayerlein is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting at the University of New England in Australia. He is an active business and accounting education researcher with a focus on the development of future focused curricula in higher education, and has recently conducted research on e-internships, work-integrated learning, and instructional design in postsecondary institutions.
