Caitlin is a Lecturer in Leadership and Career Readiness in the Leadership, Ethics, and Values Program and the School of Business and Entrepreneurship at North Central College. Her work is interdisciplinary, drawing on her background in the humanities and clinical counseling to help students create a path toward a meaningful life and career. Prior to joining North Central College, Caitlin served as Assistant Director of Career Coaching & Education at DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, and she taught general humanities at 2- and 4-year colleges. In addition to her academic roles, Caitlin has previously worked in private practice as a personal and career counselor to achievement-focused college students, grad students, and professionals at all stages of their career. She currently sits on the Alumni Advisory Board of The Family Institute at Northwestern University. Caitlin holds an MA in clinical mental health counseling from Northwestern University, an MA in liberal studies from North Central College, and a BA in history from DePaul University. She is interested in college-wide career coaching & education initiatives, organizational behavior and professional identity formation, and scholarship of teaching and learning.
